Abstract

This study explored the challenges and issues related to monitoring and contact tracing conducted by the Local Government of Sta. Ana, Cagayan, especially at the Welcome Arc checkpoint. To address these challenges, the researcher created questionnaires and evaluation tools to collect data, review current processes, and find suitable solutions. As a result, a mobility and contact tracing application using QR codes was developed and evaluated to help the Local Government Unit improve its monitoring system. Employing a descriptive research design and following the ISO 25010 software quality metrics, the application earned high ratings in usability (4.42), reliability (4.58), and efficiency (4.75). The findings indicate that the proposed system is a contactless, effective, and dependable tool for tracking and monitoring visitors in the municipality.
