Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful tool capable of simulating human reasoning to improve prediction and decision-making in healthcare. In dentistry, particularly in endodontics, AI is increasingly being utilized for its high precision in diagnosing and forecasting dental conditions. This technology has the potential to enhance treatment accuracy and improve clinical outcomes. Despite its promise, the routine use of AI in clinical practice still requires validation in terms of its dependability, practical implementation, and cost-efficiency. This review focuses on examining the existing roles of AI in endodontics and considers its future potential in transforming endodontic care.
